TEDxPedition is a journey to learn about projects with positive ecological and economic impacts, such as the Loess Plateau Rehabilitation Project, Three Gorges Dam, Sichuan Earthquake zone and green businesses in Hong Kong. The purpose of the trip is not only to let participants appreciate the dynamic nature of the projects but also to collect information by communicating with locals and experts to gather up-to-date information for further evaluation. Along the journey, expeditioners will minimize their carbon footprint by participating in sustainable practices, such as using solar chargers for cell phones, and tree planting.
